Will the therapist come to my house or will I bring my child into The Tiny Tim Center?
Natural environments (home, daycare, parks) are considered "best practice" in the area of Early Intervention (birth to 3 years of age). We try to do this as much as possible. Occasionally a client may live out of our 20-30 minute driving radius or it may be deemed that the client would do better in a center-based setting. For children over 3, most visits are center-based, unless it is more appropriate for the client's therapy to be elsewhere. We offer our therapeutic services at our center in Longmont, 611 Korte Parkway, and also in Boulder at Wilderness Early Learning Center, 2845 Wilderness Place.

Can I be a part of my child's therapy?
Parent and caregiver participation is strongly encouraged. The benefits of therapy will be seen with regular therapeutic activities. Therapists design home programs for families to be able to create therapeutic activities in their daily routine with their children.

What do I do if my child is sick?
Our cancellation policy requests 24-hour notice of any cancellation.

Will you bill my insurance company?
We will bill your insurance company for services rendered. You will receive an invoice for any co-payments or services not covered under your insurance benefit plan.

Will you communicate with my child's doctor if necessary?
A report is generated after an initial visit. This, along with a Letter of Medical Necessity (prescription for treatment), is sent to the doctor. We will send reports to other team members with a signed Release of Information. We will communicate with your child's doctor whenever necessary as well as is mandated by your insurance company.

If my child is receiving a therapy service in school, will your therapists communicate with them?
If a signed Release of Information is obtained, the therapists can share information with your child's school therapy team. This is frequently done to assist in collaboration of services.
